We are united in the belief that just as Christ gave Himself for all of us in love,
we, too, give ourselves to God in love by ministering to people in His name.
St. John's is a growing family of caring people dedicated to serving the South Philadelphia area in the name of our living Lord, Jesus Christ.
Our common bond is a faith in the love God has shown us through Jesus Christ, who alone gives the power to live a meaningful life.
St. John's Baptist Church continues to reach out to all people through community programs such as our year-round Nursery School, Youth Activity Center, Recovery groups, Bible Studies, and other various social events throughout the year. We began by meeting the needs of the Italians in South Philadelphia and will continue to meet the needs of all who venture into our community, always with the Gospel of Jesus Christ on our lips and in our hearts.

Our Sunday Worship Service is at 10:30 am (enter on Tasker Street).
Nursery care is available for infants through Kindergarten.
